Stephanie Cirami, President of the International Association of Top Professionals Discusses Entrepreneurship in America.

We had an opportunity to catch up with Stephanie Cirami President of the IAOTP this is what she shared up with us.
What are your thoughts on Entrepreneurship in America and more specifically, how does Entrepreneurship fit into everyday life with the members of the International Association of Top Professionals?
I think in America the school system does a poor job at teaching our youth to be bold, to take chances to go after something you are passionate about and to be your own boss…..The education system grooms our youth to follow other people’s orders….to follow a 9–5 schedule and to answer to higher authority. What is great about IAOTP members is that the majority of our members did go out on their own, took a chance to grab hold of their own destiny to become their own boss and entrepreneur and they all want to share their story of success to others to say hey you can do what your passionate about and make money don’t be afraid….and I think that is really special in our organization.
As the President of one of the largest and most prestigious award companies in the world how do you best manage your time to fit the needs of so many?
Each day is different, and everyday I write down everything I would like to finalize to feel my day will feel accomplished…. I make sure those tasks are completed first and then reward myself with some free time to do something for me, go outside for a walk, get a manicure, do a kickboxing class. It motivates me to keep going and to do more. I also am a Yes person….very rarely do you ever hear me say no to anything so any opportunities presented to myself or the organization I normally say yes, a very successful mentor of mine had told me keep saying yes and see the opportunities and doors that open for you…..and I feel that is true say yes no matter how busy you may be make time and do as much as you can!
Talk to us about the non-profits that the International Association of Top Professionals supports and funds, why are so important to you personally?
Our charities in my opinion are the best charities that all should donate to. First of all Thorn was founded by Ashton Kutcher and its mission is in stopping child sex trafficking, pedophiles, the dark web etc kiddie porn horrific things that no child should ever be subjected to. I think it is a huge problem in this country which is very hushed hushed by the media so I am happy to bring awareness to this very significant problem. St Jude’s, Smile Train, Doctors Without Borders, wounded warrior project snd NYLeap are all dear to my heart. No child should have to worry of receiving treatment to save and better their life, we need to take care of our vets who have served and risked their lives to make sure we live free and our law enforcement officers should not feel alone and feel there is no way out but to commit suicide which is what NY leap is about; getting law enforcement the proper mental health treatment they need.
We noticed that once you win an award from the IAOTP you become a lifetime member to the association. Why was having this as a feature important to you as the founder?
At IAOTP we handpick our members, and each person goes through a very thorough vetting process. I wanted each member to understand when we choose you we want you for life! We are about quality and prestige not about quantity. So we never charge membership fees because if you want someone apart of your organization they shouldn’t have to pay to be a member. I also felt that in some other organizations they take anyone who will pay a membership fee and you lose the prestige of being affiliated with that organization. We want our members to take advantage of our amazing products, services, media opportunities and networking events and to focus on that instead.

There are a large number of authors that are members of the IAOTP, give us the inside scoop on what books you like to read whenever time permits?
I enjoy reading our members books. We always want to support our members so I secretly always order a copy of their books and when I get to spend time with that member I always ask them to sign their book! And because our members are the best in their fields what better way to gain more knowledge than to read from the best in the field!
